WHERE IT STARTED
THE ORIGIN STORY
From a young age, I’ve always had natural talent for organisation and a love of lists! Even at the tender age of 16, I dipped my toes into the world of organising events at a hotel I worked at in South Wales (where I’m originally from). Unknowingly, this would ignite a flame that would shape my entire career for the next two decades. From there, I went on to work in Oxford in a beautiful hotel, overseeing weddings and events, bringing celebratory days to life.

then this HAPPENED
FAST FORWARD
After a move to Suffolk, I became venue manager and weddings co-ordinator for some exquisite wedding venues in Suffolk and Essex including Easton Grange and Gosfield Hall, playing a pivotal role in bringing the dreams of countless couples to life. I then established Amae Events in 2019, inspired by the Japanese word 'Amae,' which means 'the desire for someone to take care of you.' As a dedicated wedding planner, this concept resonates deeply with me.

WHICH BRINGS US UP TO DATE
LIVING MY DREAM
I now love running my own wedding planning business having had the the privilege of orchestrating more than 200 weddings, each one a unique story waiting to be told. In 2023, I was honoured to receive the Essex Wedding Planner of the Year award at the Essex Wedding Awards. My mission is simple; to take care of you, to make sure that every moment of your special day is etched in your heart forever.
